Custom Curtains Brisbane

Custom Curtains Made for Brisbane Homes

Standard curtains rarely account for the exact width, drop, ceiling height or furniture layout of a room. Dola's custom curtains are planned for your opening and the way you want the space to feel — from light and relaxed to private and restful.

Why Made to Measure

Made-to-Measure Curtains for Brisbane Homes

Dola creates custom curtains for Brisbane homes, planned around your exact window size, fabric and heading style. Choose from sheer, blackout, S-fold, layered and motorised curtains, professionally measured and installed for a balanced, practical finish.

Balanced Proportions

Width, drop and fabric fullness are planned to suit your window and selected curtain heading.

Neat Track Placement

Track position is carefully considered for a clean finish when curtains are open or closed.

Made for Brisbane Conditions

Fabric and lining options help manage strong sunlight, glare and privacy throughout the year.

A Softer Interior

Custom curtains add warmth and softness to rooms with hard floors, glass doors and open-plan layouts.

Heading & track options

Every made-to-measure curtain is configured in two parts: its heading style, which shapes the fabric at the top, and its track option, which determines how it is mounted and operated.

01

Curtain heading styles

How your curtain looks at the top.

The heading shapes the fabric, affects how it falls and gives the curtain its overall look.

S-fold curtain heading

S-fold

Soft, continuous waves for a clean, modern curtain finish.

Pinch pleat curtain heading

Pinch Pleat

Defined folds for a more tailored and structured look.

02

Curtain track options

How your curtain is attached and opened.

The track determines where the curtain sits, how it stacks back and how it is operated.

Ceiling-mounted curtain track

Ceiling-mounted

Fixed directly to the ceiling for a clean, full-height finish.

Wall-mounted curtain track

Wall-mounted

Fitted tightly below the cornice where ceiling mounting is not suitable.

Motorised curtain track

Motorised

Motor-operated opening for easy everyday use.

Your final heading style and track option are confirmed during the on-site measure.

Custom Curtains FAQ

Questions we're often asked

The price depends on the total width and drop, fabric, fullness, heading style, track, lining, access and installation requirements. Send Dola photos and approximate dimensions for an initial conversation, followed by a detailed quote once selections and measurements are confirmed.

Lead times vary with fabric availability, product specifications and current production schedules. Dola will provide an estimated timeframe when your selections and measurements have been confirmed.

S-fold is a popular option for modern interiors because it creates smooth, consistent waves. Other headings may suit particular fabrics or more traditional rooms. Dola can recommend a heading after reviewing your window and preferred style.

Floor-length curtains are usually planned either just above the floor, lightly touching it or with a deliberate puddled finish. The best drop depends on the fabric, flooring and how often the curtain will be opened.

Many custom curtain configurations can be paired with a compatible motorised track. Suitability depends on the curtain weight, opening size, power access and control requirements, so these details should be confirmed before manufacture.
